Memorial Alpine Corps

This is two memorials. The first, created in 1940, is dedicated to the mules used by the Italian Alpine troops. The second, created in 1957, is dedicated to the Alpine troops themselves.

The inscription, in Aostan dialect, reads:

Ca custa lon ca custa viva l'Austa 1915-1918

which translates as "Whatever it costs, long life to Aosta"
