Memorial Deportations

This memorial commemoratea the deportation-trains on this railway. With this trains, 24,906 Jews and 351 Gypsies were deportated to the concentration camps. Of these, 1205 survived.

On 19 April 1943, the 20th transport was stopped by three members of the resistance, the only deportationtrain stopped during World War II.
