War Memorial Jamoigne

At the Château du Faing, near the library, is the monument to the two world wars.

Central part: plaque in the shape of a shield:
"Soldiers died in the field of honor - 8 names
Lieutenant Castillon and 40 French soldiers "

Below that a smaller plate with 5 names:
"Soldiers died after Armistice Day"

Two more memorial plaques hang on the sides of the central block:
"Civilians shot or killed as a result of ill treatment" - 6 names
"Deportees died in captivity or died as a result of their deportation" - 8 names

Next to the central part are 2 low blocks:

Left:
1940
Civilian Casualties - 3 names
7 French soldiers, killed on the ground of Jamoigne (May 1940) „

Right:
1945
Soldiers died on the field of honor - 3 names
Executed resisters - 2 names
Prisoners of war died in exile - 3 names
