Memento First World War Stavele

In the St. John's Beheading Church hangs a memento with the medallion of 8 fallen heroes from 1914-1918.

They fought for God and country.

On the sides:
Left: "They fell for us, we pray for them"
Right: "Heroes live, despite their death"

Above the frame is a remembrance tile for armistice, presented by the Province of West Flanders.
