Memorials City Hall Wavre

On the side wall of the City Hall in Wavre are two commemorative plaques of the Second World War.

A plaque commemorates the Liberation of Wavre in September 1944 by the 2nd Battalion Welsh Guard (GB), the 2nd Armoured Division (USA) and the Belgian resistance fighters.

A second plaque commemorates the prisoners of war, political prisoners and deportees of the Second World War.
