Monument "Smekende Handen" (begging hands), Kampen

Dutch East Indies monument in memory of those killed in actions in the former Dutch East Indies.

It is a bronze sculpture of folded and upward facing hands. The statue is placed on a circular column with the names of the twelve war victims on the column. The hands symbolize the call for peace and freedom.
