Monument to the Fallen of the Crimean Wars and 1870

Monument to the dead of the Crimean Wars and 1870 was erected in 1892 at the suggestion of Captain Dominique Leca, councilor and inaugurated in 1893. The monument is located in the center of Saint François Cemetery in Bonifacio.
Later decorated with a statue of the Virgin and Child in white marble. The five confraternities of penitents of the city traditionally gather around this monument on November 2, at the end of the mass for the dead, which is celebrated in the nearby monastery of Saint-François, to attend the blessing of the counts by the to serve.
