Grave Hero Gatot Subroto

This honour grave contains the remains of Indonesian general Gatot Subroto. He was posthumously declared National Hero.

Note on visitor restrictions to the grave:
Gatot Soebroto was not buried in the hero grave garden (TMP), but in a grave at the family cemetery in Sidomulyo Urban Village, East Ungaran, Semarang Regency. Visitors can come at any time as long, often after requesting a visitor permit first.

The grave area is enclosed by a fence. Every day the grave of the National Hero Gatot Soebroto is guarded and kept clean.

Visitors are requested to fill in the guest book.

On the grave of Gatot Soebroto's, it is written: "Here is Buried General of the TNI (Posthumously) Gatot Soebroto, National Hero for National Independence, Originator of the Establishment of AKABRI and the First Diponegoro IV Commander, Born: Jatilawang - Banyumas, October 10, 1909, died: Jakarta, June 11 1962 ". Besides that, there is also the grave of his wife, Sopiah and their son and son-in-law next to him.
