Gorizia Airfield "Amedeo Duca d’Aosta"

This airfield was used by the Italian Royal Air Force (99° Gruppo) and the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. It is named after the Prince Amedeo di Savoia-Aosta who was the base commander here for a time being.
