War Memorial Roggendorf

Monument in memory of the victims of the First and Second World War.

The monument was inaugurated on November 16, 1958. There are five basalt lava slabs on the flat quarry wall. The two outer ones incorporate smaller light stone slabs previously attached to the chapel. It contains the names of the fallen from the First World War.
The three plates in between show the fallen of the Second World War.
Four trumpet angels and the reference to Matthew 24:31 are painted on the white-painted facade of the gymnasium.
