War Memorial Lorbach

Next to the chapel "Auf dem Knippchen", the municipality of Lorbach had a so-called "honor cave" built for the fallen of both world wars (it looks like a concert shell). The monument was inaugurated on May 1, 1950. In the cave walls 23 shallow niches that narrow inwards, each with small plaques with a photo and the name of a fallen man.
The idea for this monument came from Nikolaus Haas from Unterursholz, who also built it.
