Crash Site Junkers 88G-6, 620889
A German plane, a JU 88 G-6, an aircraft of the very latest type, crashed on the night of 27 to 28 December 1944 just outside Benthuizen in the land of farmer L. Slootmaker. Two of the three crew members are immediately dead, they are buried in IJsselsteyn Limburg.
The third, 21-year-old Eberhard Scheve, is thrown from the plane and lies unnoticed for hours on the land.
