Memorial 1st Regiment Hussars 6th Eskadron

On 11 May 1940, around 6 pm, hussars of the 6th Squadron 1st Regiment Hussars ((6-1RH) fell victim to an unmarked "own" minefield at this location.
Nine of them were injured, some seriously.

Four of them died:
Conscript Corporal J.J. Palland 03-07-1908 Amsterdam
Conscript Hussar J.J. van Dorth 31-01-1912 Amsterdam
Conscripted Hussar H. Hoogwerf 15-04-1913 Rotterdam
Conscript Hussar E.J. Morren 15-04-1912 Deventer
