Polish and Russian War Graves Maria Veen

In the center of the town of Maria-Veen, a cemetery has been laid out in the cemetery. The cemetery actually consists of 3 different parts and is clearly described and explained on the information board at the entrance of the cemetery.

The cemetery section 3, here are mainly Eastern European prisoners of war (mainly Polish and Russian) who found their final resting place nowhere else. The victims are from both the 1st and the 2nd World War, as a prisoner of war camp was established here during both wars.
