War Memorial Maria-Veen

In Maria Veen, in a beautifully landscaped park, there is a memorial in cube shape. The column has black plaques on all sides with the names of fallen and missing inhabitants during both world wars. The monument is further decorated by a cross on top of the cube pedestal.

The inscription reads:
"In memory of our fallen during the two wars 1914-1918 and 1939-1945"
Further on the back the inscription;
"founded by the shooting association "Middelbauerschaft" in 1952."
