This plaque is attached to the old church in Veenendaal. The text reads:
OFFERED BY FORMER SOLDIERS OF THE 10TH REGIMENT INFANTRY TO THE BURGERY OF VEENENDAAL, EDERVEEN AND DE KLOMP IN GRATITUDE FOR THE HOSPITALITY DURING THE MOBILIZATION 1939-1940.
WE ALSO REMEMBER OUR FALLEN COMRADES.
