Belgian War Grave Rutten

The churchyard in Rutten contains a tomb with a plaque in memory of VRANCKEN Arthur. This soldier was killed in the explosion of the Fort of Loncin on 15 August 1914. Today most of the victims of this explosion, including Arthur Vrancken, still rest under the rubble.
