Belgian War Grave Sommethonne

The cemetery in Sommethonne contains a plaque on the family grave LEPAGE in memory of a civilian victim of the Second World War.
It concerns LEPAGE Emile, arrested on 29 March 1944 in Sommethonne for his resistance activities. He was deported and imprisoned in Buchenwald concentration camp from May 1944 to April 1945. He is believed to have died during the evacuation of the camp.
