At this location were the remains of a shot down Wellington bomber of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The bomber was shot down on December 20, 1942.
the commemorative sign is on the Erpseweg in Boekel, now restaurant Montimar.
This sign was made by Heemkundekring Sint Achten op Boeckel and placed on August 31, 2022.
