Headquarters 3rd Canadian Division Mons

This building housed the Headquarters 3rd Canadian Division, commanded by Major General Frederick Loomis, CMG DSO, after the liberation of Mons on 11 November 1918 by Canadian Units including the 42nd Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary force.
Donated to the City of Mons to mark the 100th Anniversary on 11 November 2018 by the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada, perpetuating the 13th, 42nd and 73rd Battalions C.E.F.
