War Graves Forced Laborers Darmstadt

At the Waldfriedhof in Darmstadt is a cemetery where forced laborers from various countries such as Belgium, Estonia, France, the Netherlands, Italy, the former Yugoslavia, Lithuania and Poland are buried in mass graves. The mass graves are marked by memorial stones with the names. In addition, 1 of the stones also mentions 2 unknown English pilots (photo 2)

Finally, there is also a stone cross and a wooden cross for a number of Polish victims who died during the "Brandnacht".

The Waldfriedhof in Darmstadt also contains a plot with Russian forced laborers.
