Stockton Harbor

During World War II, Stockton Harbor played an important role in shipbuilding. There were a number of shipyards at the time that made sub chasers, minesweepers and salvage vessels.

The Stockton Ordnance Depot (established in 1942) was also located here with its own POW camp.
