Stockton Assembly Center

Stockton Assembly Center was a transit camp for ethnic Japanese from May 10 to October 17, 1942. At its peak, the camp held 4,271 civilians. Stockton Assembly Center was taken over by the 4th AF in October 1942, which used it as an air depot throughout the war.
