Memorial Deported Communist Women

The monument from 1975 commemorates the fallen communist women during the years of occupation. The monument is a pillar with a terrace of white marble. There is a recess for a rose plant in this.

Inscription on the pillar reads: "En hommage aux femmes communistes qui ont donné leur vie pour la victoire de la liberté contre le nazisme pour le triomphe de la paix"
Translated it means: "A tribute to the communist women who gave their lives for the victory of freedom against Nazism for the triumph of peace"

An inscription at the foot of the pedestal reads: "8 mai 1975. 30ème anniversaire de la vitoire sur l'hitlerisme. Année Internationale de la Femme"
Translated here it says: "May 8, 1975. 30th anniversary of the victory over Hitlerism. The International Women's Year"
