Heeres-Küsten-Batterie Digosville

Heeres-Küsten-Batterie Digosville was crewed by the 6th battery of Artillery Regiment 1709 (6./A.R. 1709) and had four 15,5 cm s.FH 414 (f) being captured French guns from the first world war. (Canon de 155 C modèle 1917 Schneider ) .These were housed in four R669 (Schartenstand für Feldgeschütze (60°) ohne Nebenräume) bunkers. There was also a 2 cm Flak present. Today all the bunkers are closed and overgrown but can be easily visited, as they are on the side of a sports field
