Crash Site Messerschmitt Bf 109 27023

On Sunday 30 January 1944, a German fighter aircraft, the Messerschmitt Bf 109 with work number 27023, crashed at this location. The 20-year-old Unteroffizier Otto Tillack was killed.
In memory of this event, this information panel was placed by the Historical Circle Dalfsen in the context of 75 years of liberation.
