Crash Site P-47D Thunderbolt 42-7924 'QP-F'
P-47-D Thunderbolt 42-7924 'QP-F' was shot down 3 November 1943 by a group of Me-190s and subsequently crashed into the IJsselmeer a few km SE of Den Oever. The wreck and pilot were recovered in 1995.
