Remains Victoria Line

Remains of the Victoria Line.

The defence line of around 12 km was built to protect the towns and harbours to the south from any invasions to the north across the wide-open lowlands.

On August 27, 1998, the Victoria Line was nominated and added as a tentative UNESCO World Heritage monument.
