Belgian War Graves Durnal

There are two war graves at the Durnal cemetery.

FONTINOY Camille : Corporal Engineer 1st Bat. 5th Cie.
1914 - 1918 - Fallen on the field of honor.
Died on November 2, 1918 in the military hospital "Beveren" in Bruges as a result of his injuries. First buried in Steenbrugge (Assebroek), later transferred to the cemetery of his native village.

SCAILLET Léon : soldier 1st Ardennes Hunters 2nd Bat 4th Comp
1940 - 1945 - Fallen on the field of honor in Menufontaine (Fauvillers) on May 11, 1940.
Killed by a bullet while carrying out demolition missions near the Belgian-Luxembourg border, immediately after the German invasion.
The grave mentions that he was killed in Witry.
