Crash Site Consolidated B-24H Liberator 42-7638 "Big Banner"

Consolidated B-24H Liberator 42-7638 was shot down by German anti-aircraft fire on December 22, 1943. Of the 10-man crew, only one survived. 2/Lt Taylor was taken POW. The wreck was recovered in 1975.
