Forest of Unconquerable Almere

On 29 April 1993, the Forest of Unconquerable in Almere was opened for public by Prince Bernhard. This was 50 years after the April-May strike in 1943. The forest has 2133 trees for the 2133 resistance fighters who were executed by the Germans between 1940 and 1945.
