Memorial Veterans Provo City

In the memorial park there is an Obelisk that commemorates the veterans of Provo City. The side of the obelisk contains texts with quotes from the Star Sprangel the Banner, America the beautiful, a copy of Abraham Lincoln's letter to Mrs Bixby and the following text (translated):
In grateful memory of those brave men and women who served in our nation's armed forces in defense of cherished freedoms. This monument was erected by the residents of Provo City. Dedicated 2001.
