Memorial "The Nympf of Aveluy"

Aveluy which was later completely destroyed served, as a base for French troops during World War I between September 1914 and July 1915. During a rest period, they engaged in all kinds of sculpture and carving, among other things.

To commemorate the centenary of this war, the city decided to copy a work by these anonymous French soldiers, artists: " La Nymphe 'd Aveluy ",
