Memorial Jersey Contigent

This memorial park was established in memory of the soldiers of the Jersey Contingent who fought and died here in September 1916. It is also a memorial park for the other soldiers from the island of Jersey who fought during the First World War.

Of the 50,000 inhabitants of the island of Jersey, 1,500 died during the First World War.
