Historiale Museum

The Historical Museum was opened in 2004 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Montecassino, in honor of the fallen soldiers from all countries, who sacrificed their lives for the triumph of peace and freedom.

The exhibition has been developed based on a number of events of the twentieth century, including the two world conflicts, the story of the brutal battles of the Second World War, the construction of the Gustav Line, the bombing of the Abbey of Montecassino, the military strategies, the testimony of the citizens, the rebirth of the territory, the will and the strength to rebuild.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
