Bloc B 2 fort Aubin-Neufchâteau

Bloc 2, or B 2 was one of the fort's two combat bunkers. Bloc 1 and 2 were basically identical.

It was equipped with a collapsible 75 mm cannon, type F.R.C., and 2 machine gun turrets.

The type F.R.C. indicates that it is a rapid-fire cannon from the Fonderie Royale des Canons of Belgium.

Clearly visible is the hole where one of the two machine gun turrets stood. This turret was also removed in the 1960s. The other machine gun turret is filled in with a tank to give an idea of what the turret looked like.
