This memorial is in honor of the 2nd (Airborne) BN, The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire LI (52nd).
The inscription reads:
In Memory of those who fought at the Pegasus Bridge, Escoville, Hérouvillette, Breville-Les-Monts and to the Seine and to the many brave Frenchmen who helped us.
