Bures Sur Dives "Juckes Bridge"
This memorial was erected in memory of Captain T.R. Juckes. He was commanding officer of the "2nd Troop, 3rd Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers" on 6th June 1944 and ensured that this bridge was destroyed on that day.
On 28th June 1944 Captain T.R. Juckes was killed by enemy mortar fire.
