Memorial cemetery Rotheux

    The Rotheux cemetery contains an honorary plot for the fallen during both World Wars.

    DELINCÉ Felicien, 33 years old, born in Rotheux, soldier with the 2nd battalion genius of the Devision Armée, killed by shrapnell in the heart at Avekapelle on July 5, 1915.

    TERWAGNE Eugene, age 23, from Rotheux, soldier with the 5th line regiment, died of wounds on February 13, 1915 (bullet in the head) at Bournemouth (England).

    HANQUET Ferdinand, age 25, from Rotheux, reserve lieutenant in an escadron of cyclists of the 5th Division Infantry , killed May 18, 1940 at Impe.

    BERNAIR Leon, age 24, from Rotheux, sergeant with the Ardennes Hunters, killed on May 25, 1940 at Meigem.

    Also buried;

    LAMBERT Thomas, died in captivity 1915, no details known.
