Information board crash site B26 Marauder 42-95863
On October 6, 1944, the Martin B-26 Marauder 42-95863, YU-Y of the 323BG/455BS of the USAAF made a crash landing at the farm behind this information board. The crew members survived. Four were taken as prisoners of war. Two crew members went into hiding and later escaped.
The sign is part of the Historical Bicycle Route Vragender.
