Memorial Executed Resistance Fighters

This memorial commemorates the three resistance fighters who were shot dead here by the Germans on 5 January 1945 during the Battle of the Bulge.

The bronze plaque affixed to a boulder bears the following inscription:

(Passants souvies toi!
Ici, le 5 janvier 1945
Trois Résistents furent assassinés par les nazi's.
Fagnoul André (18 ans)
Hennes Edgar (19 ans)
Hennes Lucien (47 ans)

Il fout parler de nos de nos héros, de nos martrys ....

'Passers-by, remember!
Here, on 5 January 1945,
