Villa Henriëtte
Villa Henriëtte was built in 1896 and expanded under the direction of the NCRV, which purchased it in 1937. Between 1938 and 1941, an underground passageway was built to the nearby NCRV studio. During the German occupation, this studio served as the headquarters of the Netherlands Broadcasting Corporation (Nederlandsche Omroep), which had been nazificated by the Germans. The head of this broadcaster, NSB member Herwijer, had his offices in the villa.
