Von Oidtman Fountain Vilcey-sur-Trey

The fountain is now called the "Fontaine des 4 goulots" (Fontaine of the Four Goulots), referring to the four water inlets that feed the basins.
Its original name was "von Oidtmann Quelle" (Von Oidtmann Fountain).
This name honors the commander of the 42nd Reserve Infantry Brigade and later the 80th Infantry Brigade.

It is the largest in size in the camp.
It was built in 1915, presumably by the 2nd Pioneer Company of the Bavarian Landwehr of the II Army Corps.
This is confirmed by a plaque on the front.
Some sources suggest that the 306th Pioneer Company assisted in its construction.
