Memorial Resistance Brigades Maures

This monument in the wine region above Saint-Tropez recalls the help that the Maures resistance groups received from local winegrowers and residents during the Second World War.

(Resistance and the Maures Brigades, 1940-August 15, 1944. In this Berle Valley, the Barbeyrolles and Les Jas wine estates were a key location for the Resistance in the Saint-Tropez sector.
