Founded in 1902 as primary school no. 110. In 1922, it was renamed the Pieter Vlaming School and split into two sections, possibly for preschool or secondary education.
During WWII, the Luftgaukommando was located on the left, and the soup kitchen was temporarily located on the right; later, the Wehrmacht took over the building.
After the war, two special education schools were established there. From the 1970s onward, the building was occupied by artists. Studios are still located there today.
