Memorial Heure-En-Famenne

This memorial was erected in memory of the escape of the parishioners of Heure during the German invasion of Belgium during World War II.

The memorial bears the following inscription:

"Desparoissiens de Heure to Notre-Dame en L'exode de May 1940 sous la 2 me invasion Allemande reine de la paix pour noud"

"Parishioners of that hour in Notre-Dame during the exodus of May 1940 under the second German invasion, Queen of Peace, pray for us."
