Monument Dwight Eisenhower Sainte-Mère-Église
This monument was erected in memory of American General Dwight Eisenhower.
He was the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe during World War II and led Operation Overlord – the Allied landings in Normandy on D-Day (June 6, 1944).
