Anti-Tank Obstacle Coxley

Anti-Tank Obstacle, a piece of rail track embodied in concrete on bridge over the River Sheppey forming part of the GHQ Green 'stop' Line running from Burnham on Sean (Somerset) to near Melksham (Wilts) where it joins the GHQ Blue Line. Also known as the Bristol Outer Line, it was manned by VIII Corps. Erected 1940/41.
