Pillbox Type FW3/24 Coxley

Pillbox Type FW3/24, a shell proof version of the type 24, positioned next to the former Coxley railway bridge over the River Sheppey forming part of the GHQ Green 'stop' line running from Burnham on Sea to Melksham where it joined the GHQ Blue Line. Built 1940/41 and manned by VIII Corps. Heavily overgrown.
