Stelling van Amsterdam - Batterijen aan het Gein
The batteries are located on either side of the Gein River, in the Baambrugge-Oostzijde and Broekzijde polders. They served as open gun emplacements against enemy troops. Each consists of a closed earthwork; the eastern one lies just below the junction of the defensive wall with the Gein dike. This wall extends to Fort bij Nigtevecht.
